If you are worried about your WiFi being used without your permission. Here is a small advice you can follow to protect your WiFi from getting hacked. This way you can make your WiFi more secure.

Nowadays people are using Apps which are meant to test own WiFi vulnerabilities to access someone elses WiFi. Before I telll you how to protect your WiFi from getting hacked, I want to share an important thing with you. The important thing is that WiFi hacking is not possible. Atleast for a common person. Yes, this is true. This is my short answer to the question, whether it is possible to hack a WiFi or not.

So you don’t need to worry about that anyone around could hack your wifi. But a long answer is WiFi hacking is sometimes possible depending upon the type of security you are using.

If your WiFi has the encryption type WPS enabled, then your WiFi is almost open to public. Anyone can use that by just downloading an android app called WPS WPA TESTER.

How people use this app to hack anyones WiFi.  And how you can protect your WiFi from getting hacked ?

Just Follow the steps below:

  1. Download an app called WPS WPA TESTER from playstore.
  2. Scan for available WiFi networks around you.
  3. Click on any network which is WPS enabled.
  4. Tap on Conect Automatic Pin.
  5. Select No Root (in case your phone is not rooted).
  6. Just wait till it shows SUCCESS.

You are done. Now you can use the WiFi without typing any password. If your WiFi is also using WPS encription, just change it to WPA2. This is a more secure standard than WPS.
