Watch Nokia MWC 2017 Event Live – Nokia 3, 5, 8 & 3310 Launch Expected

Finally, the day has come! Today Nokia is going to announce details of their new Android Smartphones. The event is a part of MWC 2017 that is scheduled from 27th Feb-2nd March in Barcelona. No, you don’t need to go to Spain to attend this event. You can watch Nokia MWC 2017 event live on their Facebook page or their YouTube Channel. So, what are we expecting HMD Global, Nokia’s new owner, to announce during MWC 2017. Here’s what we know so far.

There are strong assumptions that Nokia will announce at least 4 phones at this event. Nokia 5, Nokia 6, Nokia 8 are the three Android smartphones that the company is expected to launch today. Along with these three smartphones, the company will also announce the most iconic phones that we have ever seen – Nokia 3310! But it is being said that the phone will be launched in a totally new Avatar.

While there is still sometime left for the Nokia MWC 2017 Live Event to start, let’s discuss about the various expected specifications of all the four smartphones that we know till now. Thanks to various leaks and rumours!

Nokia 3 & Nokia 5 Expected Specifications

Although we don’t know much about the upcoming Nokia 5 smartphone and we may want to wait for the live Nokia event to know more about it. But it is being said that Nokia 5 will come with a 5.2-inch display, 12-megapixel rear camera, and 2GB RAM with expected cost of EUR 199 (around Rs. 14,000). That’s all we know till now. But everything would get clear once we watch the Nokia MWC 2017 Event Live.

Nokia 3, is rumoured to be the Nokia’s entry-level smartphone which expected to feature a 5.2-inch HD display, 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB RAM & 16GB in-built storage. The phone is expected to come with a price tag of around EUR 149 (Rs. 10,500 approx). This phone is said to feature 13MP front and a 5MP back camera. Nokia 3 will probably run on Android Nougat 7.0.

Nokia 8

Nokia 8 is rumoured to be the flagship device by HMD-led Nokia. The phone has been long-rumoured by the name Nokia P1 but some reports suggest that Nokia P1 will be officially launched as Nokia 8.

As per various leaks Nokia 8 is said to be based on Android 7.0 Nougat having 5.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The phone is expected to have 6GB RAM coupled with 128GB & 256GB storage options. The camera of this phone can be its main attraction being 22.6megapixels with Zeiss optics. Battery of this phone is expected to be around 3500mAh. The smartphone is said to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor and it may come with IP57 certification for dust and water resistance.

According to a listing on JD.com, Nokia 8 may be priced at CNY 3188 (Rs 32000 approx). But all this will be clarified once we watch the Nokia MWC 2017 event live today!

Nokia 3310

Nokia 3310 is one of the iconic mobile phones that Nokia has ever launched. Although Nokia 3310 is a feature phone and the relaunch is also expected to be in the form of a feature phone but this phone still has a large fan following. The redesigned version of 3310 is expected to have basic multimedia features.

Rumours suggest that Nokia 3310 reboot will be priced at EUR 59 (Rs. 4,000 approx). The phone will be instant choice of millions of Nokia fans as their secondary phone.

Nokia 6 Global Launch

Apart from launching above said phones, HMD Global is also expected to announce the availability of Nokia 6 worldwide. Nokia 6 has been an instant hit ever since it was launched in China. However, the device was launched as China-exclusive and it is being highly speculated that this phone will be made available to the users worldwide.
