Digi-Dhan Yojana and Lucky Grahak Yojana are two schemes launched by PM Modi to promote digital payments. It gives you a chance to become a millionaire.
PM Narendra Modi has announced two schemes called Digi-Dhan Yojana and Lucky Grahak Yojana. These schemes have been announced on Christmas i.e, 25 December 2016. As per these schemes merchants and customers get a chance to win lucky draws if they use digital payment methods.
These schemes have been introduced to promote Digital Payments and to counter the severe cash crush faced by citizens after demonization.
Who will be benefited from Digi-Dhan Yojana?
The Digi-Dhan Yojana is for small merchants who need to accept payments. The merchants who accept cashless payments get a chance to win lucky draws.
Who will be benefited from Lucky Grahak Yojana?
The Lucky Grahak Yojana is for the customers. The customers who make cashless payments get a chance to win lucky draws.
Here is all you should know about these schemes
As per Lucky Grahak Yojana, govt. will announce lucky draws every day for next 100 days. Rs. 1000 will be given as cashback to 15000 lucky customers everyday.
Digi-Dhan Vyaapar Yojana shall provide 7000 merchants a weekly prize of Rs. 50000, 5000 and 2500.
There will be a bigger draw announced every week where draw amount to be distributed will be in lacs.
The schemes are valid on the cashless methods which include:
- Rupay cards
- Mobile Banking and e-Banking
- AEPS and UPI apps
- USSD banking
NITI Aayog has launched Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi-Dhan Yojana in collaboration with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
Mega Draw on April 14
According to Digi-Dhan Vyapar yojana & Lucky Grahak Yojana, results of lucky draws will be announced every week but apart from this there will be a mega draw which will be announced on 14th April 2017.
Under Lucky Grahak Yojhna, 3 Lucky customers will be given 1 crore, 50 lacs and 25 lacs on mega draw which will be announced on 14 April.
As per Digi-Dhan Vyapaar yojana 3 lucky merchants will get a chance to win 50 lacs, 25 lacs and 5 lacs on 14 April.
With a similar objective Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) recently organised DigiDhan Mela at Dhyanchand National Stadium, Delhi.
