    1. IDFC bank has recently launched Aadhaar pay app. Also, many banks are expected to launch such apps once PM Modi officially announces Aadhaar Pay app tomorrow (on 14th April 2017).

  1. sir

if my adhaar card no is linked with some other person account eroneously by bank then when i go for purchase in that case his account will get debited.
because there is no need of mobile no or any otp or pin.

is there any remedy for this

how the amount will be recovered or bank will be held responsible for wrong feeding of adhaar

    1. That’s sounds more like a hypothetical situation. First of all you can’t link aadhaar card with name ‘Ajay’ to a bank account named after ‘Vijay’. If such thing actually happens, then if would be clearly a mistake on the banks’ part and can be resolved by filing a complaint with the respective bank.

  2. Does merchant need current account to accept payment or he can accept payment by saving account.Because I m trying to register on SBI Aadhaar pay but after authentication my thumb print it shows error aadhaar is not linked to my SBI Account but my aadhaar is already linked with my SBI saving account
